Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator Overview:

The Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator will work with all members of the
MACC Venture Partners team touching various aspects of the business with a main
focus of real estate investments and marketing support.

This position will be responsible for supporting the needs of the multifamily investing
community. This includes executive assistant duties, responding to support emails, and
event planning and execution. To be successful in this role it is important to gain a
thorough understanding of our community and the real estate industry.

In addition to public relations and event coordination responsibilities, the Marketing and
Public Relations Coordinator will research, write and share content. This content will be
shared through email marketing and be posted on MACC Venture Partner’s social
media accounts and blog.

MACC Venture Partners focuses on acquisitions and real estate investment funding that

Multifamily Group manages approximately 4,000 units in the Southeast. Century 21
Capstone Commercial Group is our commercial brokerage firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Connect and cultivate relationships with real estate media outlets, and journalists to place stories about company news and collaborate with partners on comarketing initiatives.
  • Handle day-to-day support needs for firm executives and investor relations
  • Work individually to research topics, creating content regularly to grow the company’s footprint and format blog posts in website platform.
  • Plan out social media content in our editorial calendar and gain approval from necessary parties.
  • Post content to social media accounts and blog regularly. Measure the results of posted content using Google Analytics and other platform insights.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute firm sponsored networking events and exclusive accredited investor events as well as thought leadership events for the company.
  • Follow industry news and recommend content to the team to share on social media and the MACC Venture Partners blog.
  • Contribute to public relations initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate with the graphic designer to craft marketing materials and order branded merchandise

Qualifications:

  • Versatile team player with a self-starter mindset that can think outside of the box to reach a niche audience
  • Articulate, effective, proactive communicator
  • Interest and passion for real estate investments
  • Ability to multitask and proactively operate in a role with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail (AP Style, grammar, spelling)
  • Advanced knowledge of common social media platforms and posting guidelines (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+)
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms (Constant Contact) and Microsoft suite (Powerpoint, Publisher, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred:

  • Experience with CRM platforms (Hubspot), Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop a plus.
  • General understanding of private equity and interacting with high net worth individuals
  • Video Editing or podcast production

Experience:

  • 2-4 years in marketing, content creation and business development within a firm.
